Sister Dorothy J. Davis was born August 5, 1927 at Rossville to Emil and Carrie Cerny Kovar and died June 17, 1990 at Rossville Nursing Home. Funeral services were held June 20 at Presbyterian Church, with interment at Rossville Cemetery.

Dorothy married Stanley A. Davis, January 31, 1947 at Topeka.

Survivors include her husband, Stanley of Willard; two daughters, Carolyn Sage of Topeka and Beverly Martinek of Branson, Missouri; her father, Emil Kovar of Rossville and three grandchildren.
