Former Rossville Man Dies In Hospital
George Daniel Diehl, 53, was dead on arrival at a Topeka hos-pital Sunday after he suffered a heart attack at his Topeka home. He had suffered a heart attack May 11, 1966 and had also had an attack several years ago.
He was born Oct. 17, 1913 at Stockton in Rooks County and moved to Rossville with his parents when he was five years of age. He attended school at Rossville and was a graduate of Rossville High School. His parents were the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Diehl of Rossville.
Mr. Diehl had lived in Topeka many years and had been employed by Graves Truck Line since 1957. Earlier, he was employed by Coe Seed Company 19 years. He was a member of local No. 696 of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Hazel Diehl, at home; three sons, Gary Daniel Diehl of Topeka, James Earl Diehl, Ansbach, Germany, and Frank Eugene Diehl at home.
