MRS. BESSIE HAYES
Services were at 2:00 p.m. Monday in the Christian Church in Rossville for Mrs. Bessie G. Hayes, 87, Carrollton, Mo., formerly of Rossville, who died Friday in a hospital at Carrollton.

She was born February 27, 1886, at Clyde in Cloud County. She lived at Cherryvale and Minneapolis until 1925 when she moved to Rossville. She lived at Carrollton, Mo., the past six years. She was a member of the Rossville Christian Church since 1925.

She was married to Bert D. Hayes September 16, 1908, at Miltonvale. He survives.

Other survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Pauline Henderson, Carrollton, Mo., Mrs. LeOra Wyker, St. Marys, Mrs. Bernita Nidiffer, Pampa, Tex., and Mrs. Audrey Geisinger, Overland Park; two sons, Lowell Hayes, Tucson, Ariz., and Glenn Hayes, Phoenix, Ariz; a Sister, Mrs. Ruth White, Cherryvale; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandsons.

Burial was in Rossville Cemetery. Verschelden Funeral Home at St. Marys had charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were Ernest Decker, Clayton Carrell, Vance Crawford, David Stadler, George Stadler and Junior Dannefer, all of Rossville.
