Evelyn Hobart

DELIA - Mrs. Evelyn Hobart, 79, Delia, died Tuesday at her home. She was born Aug. 22, 1900 at Delia, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Cyrus H. Moore.

Mrs. Hobart taught school east of Delia for two years before her marriage. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, the Altar Society of the church and was a former member of the Extension Homemakers Unit, all of Delia.

She was married to Louis J. Hobart May 25, 1921, at Delia. He died Apr. 23, 1969.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Mary Macha, Delia, and Mrs. Joan Hofmann, Camp Springs, Md.; a son, Donald A. Hobart, Destin, Fla.; 17 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Delia. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, St. Marys. Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. today at Verschelden Funeral Home, St. Marys. Mrs. Hobart will like in state until service time at the funeral home.
