G. H. Bahner, Silver Lake, Dies at Home
SILVER LAKE- George Henry Bahner, 48, Route 1, Silver Lake, died unexpectedly at his home Monday afternoon.
Born Dec. 25, 1915 near Silver Lake, he had been a resident of that community all his life. Besides being an employee [sic] of the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co., he was a farmer.
Mr. Bahner was a member of the Silver Lake Methodist Church, Lake Lodge No. 50, AF&AM, Scottish Rite bodies in Topeka and Loyal Chapter 176 Order of the Eastern Star, Silver Lake.
Survivors include his wife, NaŽdine, two sons, Darrel and DeŽlaine, and a daughter, Darlene, all of the home; three brothers, Milton, Rossville, Harvey, Route 7, Topeka, and Jeffro, Silver Lake; and four sisters, Mrs. Julia Brees, Emmett, Mrs. Christina Zickefoose, and Mrs. Elsie Rasch, both of Rossville, and Mrs. Lorraine Billingsley, 1708 E. 31st.
Services will be announced by Parker Mortuary, Topeka.
