Obituary- Ketterman, Margaret 1
Margaret M. Ketterman Margaret M. “Margie” Ketterman, 65, St. Marys, died Friday, August 5, 1994, at the home of her daughter in Topeka. She had cancer.
She was born December 11, 1928, in St. Marys, the daughter of Christopher and Amelia Ekart Rodenbaugh. She spent her lifetime in St. Marys.
On July 11, 1949, she was united in marriage to Robert L. Ketterman in St. Marys. He died March 30, 1990.
Prior to her marriage, Margie was a telephone operator in St. Marys. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, St. Marys.
Survivors include a son, Dick Ketterman, Lawrence; three daughters, Chris Macha, Rossville, Jane Rezac, Topeka, and Cindy Brown, St. Marys; two brothers, Raymond Rodenbaugh, St. Marys, and Don Rodenbaugh, Allen, Tex.; one sister, Lucille Killoren, Florissant, Mo., 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Sunday at Verschelden Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial was at 10:00 Monday at the Immaculate Conception Church, St. Marys, with interment in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
Memorials to Midland Hospice Care, Inc, Topeka, are suggested by the family.

Mrs. Ketterman was a telephone operator in St. Marys before she was married.
She was born Dec. 11, 1928, in St. Marys, the daughter of Christopher and Amelia Ekart Rodenbaugh. She was a lifelong resident of St. Marys.
Mrs. Ketterman was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in St. Marys.
She was married to Robert L. Ketterman. He died March 30, 1990.
Survivors include a son, Dick Ketterman, Lawrence; three daughters, Chris Macha, Rossville, Jane Rezac, Topeka, and Cindy Brown, St. Marys; two brothers, Raymond Rodenbaugh, Emmett, and Don Rodenbaugh, Allen, Texas; a sister, Lucille Killoren, Florissant, Mo.; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Immaculate Conception Church in St. Marys. Burial will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery in St. Marys. Mrs. Ketterman will lie in state after 10 a.m. today at the Verschelden Funeral Home in St. Marys where a rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today. Memorial contributions may be made to Midland Hospice Care Inc., 1272 S.W. Fillmore, Topeka, 66614.
