Kolbek
Mrs. Mary M. Kolbek, 73, Route 1, Delia, died early Tuesday in a Topeka hospital where she was admitted Monday night. She had a heart ailment.
She was born November 28, 1900, in Kansas. She spent her early life in the Huron community at Atchison County where she attended schools.
Mrs. Kolbek lived in the Troy and Severance communities in Doniphan County until 1936 when she moved to Atchison. She lived in the Delia community since 1969.
She was married to Luther Dittemore. They operated restaurants in Atchison and later operated the Hauk Nursing Home in Atchison. He died in 1966. She was married to John Kolbek September 15, 1969. He survives.
Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Dorine McGregor and Mrs. Shirley Williams, both of Atchison; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Karen White, Topeka; three stepsons, Raymond Kolbek, Topeka, and Harold Kolbek and John R. Kolbek, both of Holton; 24 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Stanton Mortuary at Atchison. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery at Atchison.
