Alfred Bennett
DELIA — Alfred E. Bennett, 97, Route 1, Delia, died Sunday at his home north of here.
He was born March 12, 1875, at Soldier and spent his life in Jackson County. He was a retir¬ed farmer.
His wife, Mrs. Sylvia Bennett, died in 1963.
Survivors include three daugh¬ters, Mrs. Mary Patrick, Holton, Mrs. Anna Corbit, Kansas City, and Frances Bennett, Holton; three sons, Henry Bennett, at home, Paul Bennett, Franklin, N. C., and Frank Bennett, Hol¬ton; five grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Mercer Funeral Home at Holton. Burial will be in Olive Hill Cemetery west of Holton.
