FRED BINNEY

Newcomer-Diffenderfer Funeral Home in
Topeka for Freddie L. “Fred” Binney, 60, a former Topeka, who died Sunday at his home in Roy, Utah. Details of the cause of death were unavailable.
He was born February 9, 1916 at Rossville and lived in Topeka before he moved to Roy, Utah in 1959. He served in the Army during World War II. He was a civil service employee at Hill Air Force Base in Ogden, Utah before he retired.
He was a member of Orient Lodge No. 51, AF&AM, and Philip Billard Post No. 1650 of Veterans of Foreign Wars, both in Topeka, and Chapter 14 of Disabled American Veterans in Utah.
He and his wife, Doris, were married February 8, 1936 at Kansas City, Mo. She survives.
Other survivors include a son, Sgt. David Binney, Randolph Air Force Base, Universal City, Tex.; two brothers, Clarence Binney, 1900 Kansas, Topeka, and Franklin Binney, Midwest City, Okla.; a sister, Mrs. Lucille Fannin, Topeka, and a grandchild.
Burial was in Westlawn Memorial Gardens west of Topeka.
