Obituary- Miller, Celeste
Miller Infant
Dies From Burns
Services were at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Highland Park Church of Christ in Topeka for Celeste Carol Miller, nine months, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Quincy Miller of the West Union area, who died of burns Saturday at a Topeka hospital.
The child suffered second and third degree burns over most of her body June 14 in a flash fire at her home. She overturned a gasoline container while crawling and the gasoline apparently was ignited by the pilot light of a nearby hot water heater.
She was born Sept. 2, 1964 in Topeka.
Besides her parents, survivors include a brother, Robert B. Miller, of the home; two sisters, Veronica L. Miller and Mary Jolene Miller, both of the home; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Miller, at home, and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hamner, Pomona; and great-grandmothers, Mrs. C.E. Hedges, Topeka, and Mrs. J. W. Hamner, Oskaloosa.
Burial was in Dover Cemetery.
