Harold J. Lamberson
Harold J. Lamberson, 69, Wymore, Nebr., formerly of Circleville, died Monday, December 20, 1993, at a Lincoln, Nebr. hospital.
Mr. Lamberson worked on Wyoming ranches before World WAR II and later was a farrier and a school bus driver for 23 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II, having served in one of the last horse cavalry units in the Army.
He was born June 22, 1924, at Horton, the son of Otto and Violet Barker Lamberson, and grew up in the Horton and Sabetha areas. He lived at Watsonville and Santa Clara, Calif., then at Circleville before he moved in 1980 to the Wymore-Blue Springs area in Nebraska.
Mr. Lamberson was a member and elder of the Christian Church in Circleville. He also was a member of Anderson American Legion Post No. 25, National Pony Express Association, NATRC and NECTRA.
He was married to Rosemary Farless October 29, 1960, at Las Vegas, Nev. She survives.
Other survivors include a daughter, Carol Christopher, Topeka; seven sons, Charles Lamberson, New Mexico, Stanley Lamberson, Delia, Bob Lamberson, Netawaka, Brian Lamberson, Manhattan, Mike Lamberson, Topeka, Mark Lamberson, Council Grove, and Shawn Lamberson, Wetmore; , five sisters, Nelda Teal, Holton, Leah Nott, Soldier, Barbara Brown, Mulvane, and Arleta Denny and Linda Conatser, Clarksville, Tenn.; 19 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
His funeral service was at 10 a.m. Thursday, in Wymore Church of Christ at Wymore, Nebr. Burial was in Wymore Cemetery. Laughlin-Hoevet Funeral Home in Wymore, Nebr. was in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Wymore Church of Christ in Wymore, Nebr.
