Obituary- Murren, Clyde 1
CLYDE L. MURREN
Clyde L. Murren, 60, Silver Lake, died Saturday, July 23, 1983, at a Topeka hospital. He had cancer.
He was born December 21, 1922, at Rossville, the son of Asa and Hazel Wilson Murren. He lived in the Rossville, Silver Lake and Topeka areas all his life.
Mr. Murren was a balanceman at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company at Topeka for 35 years. He retired in 1982.
He was a member of the United Methodist Church and Silver Lake Booster Club, both at Silver Lake.
He was married to Lorene Malloy September 21, 1946, at Topeka. She survives. Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Jeanne Rodecap and Mrs. Debi Barnes, both of Toepka; his mother, Mrs. Hazel Murren, Topeka; two sisters, Mrs. Doloris Gardner, Midwest City, Okla., and Mrs. Dorene Hadl, Lawrence; two brothers, Leroy Murren, Overbrook, and Asa Murren, Topeka; and two grandchildren.
Services were at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Parker-Price Mortuary, Topeka. Burial was in West Lawn Memorial Gardens, Topeka. The family will meet with friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday at the mortuary.
