ROBERT OWENS
Robert Owen, 78, of 923 North Quincy Street, Topeka, died Wednesday in a Topeka hospital. He was born May 22, 1862, in Roanoke, Va., and had lived in Topeka and the Rossville community for the last sixty-six years.

Surviving are three daughters, Miss Ruby Owens, of Kansas City, Mo.; Mrs. F. F. Whitehead, of Topeka; and Mrs. D on West, of Leavenworth; two sons, R. II. Owens, of Houston, Texas, and Kirk Owens of Kansas City, Mo.; three sisters, Mrs. Sally Fuller, and Mrs. Nettie McCarty, both of Stafford, and Mrs. Hattie Hoskinson of Liberal, and three grandchildren
