John Kenneth “Jack” Pearl
John Kenneth “Jack” Pearl, 65, Fredericksburg, Tex., formerly of Rossville, died Friday, July 17, 1992, in Rossville.
Mr. Pearl was an area superintendent for Phillips Pipeline. He retired in 1985. He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War.
He was born January 4, 1927, in Rossville, the son of John and Edna Emert Pearl. He was graduated from Kansas State University in 1951, and attended M.I.T. He lived in Kansas, Texas and Oklahoma.
Mr. Pearl was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Bartlesville, Okla.
He was married to Cleo Winsor on June 2, 1951, in St. Marys. She survives.
Other survivors include two sons, John W. Pearl, Borger, Tex., and Louis W. Pearl, Fritch, Tex.; a daughter, Mary Ladd, Loveland, Colo.; a half-sister, Ethelyn Hook Lynde; five grandchildren; and two stepgrandchildren.
Services were at 10 a.m. Monday at Immaculate Conception Church, St. Marys. Burial was in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
A rosary was recited Sunday evening at Verschelden Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Center for Basic Cancer Research at Kansas State University, or the air conditioning fund at Immaculate Conception Church.
