John W. Sage
ST. MARYS — John W. Sage, 73.
Willard, died Thursday, March 31, 1994, at his home.

Mr. Sage was a shift foreman at Goodyear Rubber & Tire Co. in Topeka when he retired in 1977. He was an Army veteran of World War II.

He was born Oct. 17, 1920, in Willard. the son of Vincent C. and Laura Vawter Sage. He was graduated from Rossville High School.

He was married to Mary Ann Herron on June 23, 1946, in Topeka. She survives.

Other survivors include two sons, Thomas V. Sage, Topeka, and Scott Sage, Rossville; a daughter, Sharral McCammon, Tecumseh; and three grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Verschelden Chapel in St. Marys. Burial in Maple Hill Cemetery will be private. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Midland Hospice, 1272 S.W. Fillmore, Topeka, 66604.
