Aaron Earl Stovall
Aaron Earl Stovall, 60, died in Winter Veterans hospital, February 9, after a long illness.
He was born in Rossville, Jan. 2, 1891, and served as a private first class in the 138th Engineers during World War I. He was a member of Hesperian Lodge III, A.F. & A.M. of Rossville; Scottish Rite of Topeka and American Legion of Silver Lake.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mildred Stovall and son, Don of the home, a daughter, Mrs. D.L. Hovorka, of Sewickley, Pa.; five sisters, Mrs. Charles Wallace, Mrs. Roy Bushey, Topeka; Mrs. Carl Ausherman, Elmont; Mrs. M.L. Whearty, Rossville; and Mrs. L.L. Henderson, Buchanan Dam, Texas.
Funeral services were held Tuesday February 13, at 2:00 p.m. from the Rossville, Methodist church, with Rev. Don Jones in charge. Hesperian Lodge No III, conducted their burial services at the church.
The music was furnished by Mrs. Irene Campbell, Mrs. Don Jones and Mrs. H.D. Richardson who song "In the Garden," accompanied by Mrs. Campbell "The Lord's Prayer" was sung by Mr. Oursler, accompanied by Nancy Adams.
The pallbearers were, Messrs. M.L. Whearty, Charles Berkey, Roy Wilt, Joe Parr, Dean Page and Albert Coleman.
Burial was in Rossville cemetery.

Hovorka, Mrs. M.D. Titus, all of Topeka; Mr. and Mrs. Carl Ausherman, Mr. Harold Ausherman, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Fusseneger, Elmont; Mrs. Ralph McCall, Lawrence, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Hook, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Guilford Hook, Silver Lake; Dean Page of Manhattan and Mr. Duane Ohlemeier of Junction City.
