Obituary- Strimple, Lydia 1

Lydia Strimple, 100, of Rossville, KS, passed in Lawrence, KS on Mon., Aug. 2006. Lydia was born in Rossville, KS on Dec. 25, 1905, the daughter of Frank and Marie Dolezilek. She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy Strimple, and a son, Francis. She is survived by a daughter, Leanna Carter, of Lawrence, KS; a son, Clyde and wife Maxine Strimple of Kansas City, KS; four granddaughters, Diana Owens and husband, Don, Marcilyn Rust and husband, William, Jerri Sitek and husband, Steve, Cassie Sturgeon and husband, Gary; six great-grandchildren, Shannon and Bethany Rust, Andrea and Brian Sitek, and Vincent and Catalin Sturgeon. Lydia was a member of the Rossville United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Fri., Aug. 11, 2006, at the Rossville United Methodist Church. Interment will be in Rossville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thurs. at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Rossville United Methodist Church, P.O.
