Sharlene Nicole Cress and Shawn Cooper were united in marriage Saturday, June 20, 1987, at the Rossville Christian Church. The Reverend Bob Sieh officiated.

Parents of the couple are Verlon and Judy Cress, Delia, and Bob and Cathy Cooper, rural Topeka.

Attending the bride were Brenda Dudney and Angie Parnell, Rossville. The groom’s attendants were Shane Cooper and Chris Waldy, rural Topeka.

Sharlene and Shawn are graduates of Rossville High School. Sharlene is employed by Doug’s Pharmacy in Rossville and Shawn works for Bell Electric in Rossville.

They are living in Rossville.
