Marriage- Cox, Juanita-Hanna, John
Couple exchanges marriage pledges
Juanita Marie Cox and John Timothy Hanna exchanged marriage vows at 7 p.m. June 9 in Rossville Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Dewite Seneker officiating.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Cox, Rossville, and Mr. and Mrs. John R. Hanna, Silver Lake.
The bride wore a gown of white organza. Venise ribbon insertion accented the bodice and cuffs of the bishop sleeves. A flunce edged the skirt. A Juliet headpiece trimmed with matching lace held her veil, and she carried a bouquet of pink sweetheart roses, blue miniature carnations and white daisies with her great-grandmother’s blue batiste handkerchief.
Maid of honor was Mrs. Clyde Aubert, St. Marys, and bridesmaids were Marcia Immenschuh and Mrs. Gene Lytle, Rossville.
Doug Hanna, Topeka, served his brother as best man, and groomsmen were Gregg Hanna, Topeka, and Gary Hanna, Silver Lake, brothers of the bridegreoom. The bride’s brother, Ron Cox, Rossville, and Clinton Bass, Hutchinson, were ushers. Candles were lighted by David Uhler and William Uhler, Osage City.
A church reception followed the ceremony.
The bride was graduated from Rossville High School and attended Kaw Area Vocational-Technical School. She is employed by Blue Cross and Blue Shield.
Mr. Hanna is a graduate of Silver Lake High School. They will be at home in Long Beach, Calif., where Mr. Hanna is serving with the U.S. Navy.
