Obituary- Andrick, Terry 2
Accident Claims Life of Terry Andrick
At 1:57 p.m. Sunday, March 29, 1998, Terry Andrick, rural St. Marys, was killed when his 1981 Ford pickup left the road and over-turned. Andrick was driving on E Road, north of Locust Avenue, Delia. According to a spokesper¬son from the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, Phyllis Gleason, Maple Hill, was ready to turn. Ap¬parently Andrick did not see her turn signal and attempted to pass the Gleason vehicle when he lost control and overturned his pickup.
Andrick was pronounced dead at the scene. His passenger, his eight-year-old son John, was thrown from the vehicle and taken to a Topeka hospital where he was treated, then released.
Authorities said that Andrick and his son were not wearing seat belts. Mrs. Gleason and her pas-senger were wearing seat belts.
Responding to the accident were the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department, the Highway Patrol, and Medicare from Holton.
Mr. Andrick’s obituary is printed on page 2.
