Mr. and Mrs. John Dayton of Rossville announce the birth of their first child, a daughter, on Dec. 13 at Stormont-Vail Hospital, Topeka. Weighing eight pounds at birth, she has been given the name of Ellen Marie.

Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. James Rezac, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Dayton, of Rossville, Mrs. Laura Garretson of Johnstown, Pa., is the paternal great-grandmother.
