Anniversary- Hurla, Bernard and Laverne 2

60 Years For Hurla Couple
Bernard and Laverne Hurla, Paxico, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with a Mass of Thanksgiving at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Newbury, Paxico, on Saturday, July 26, at 2 p.m.

Following the Mass, there will be a reception and open house at the Knights of Columbus Hall, Newbury, from 3 to 5 p.m. A dance will be held beginning at 7:30 in the evening.

Bernard Hurla and Laverne Glotzbach were married on July 26, 1943. They have 14 children, 64 grandchildren and 51 great-grandchildren.

Hosting the occasion will be their children and their spouses — Diane and Charlie Gros, Myron and Kathy Hurla, Gertrude and Ruff Garcia, Theresa and Wayne Johnson, Vincent Hurla, Roy and Vicky Hurla, and Martin and Anita Hurla, all of Paxico; Lucille Moore, Catherine and Richard Prue, Ruth and Israel Feliciano, Topeka; Barbara and David Prue, Annette Mulanax, Angela and Danny Lloyd, Wamego; and Bernadette Wahl, Blue Springs, MO.

Relatives, friends and neighbors are invited to help the Hurlas celebrate this special occasion. The couple requests no gifts, please.
