Orville and Janet Martinek
Orville and Janet Martinek will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary as guests of honor at an open house reception from 2 to 4 p.m. Nov. 27 at Silver Lake United Methodist Church, 204 Madore.

Janet Leggett and Orville Martinek were married Dec. 12,1954, at Silver Lake Methodist Church.

Hosts will be their children, Ken and Stephanie Martinek, Tempe, Ariz.; Ron and Diane Martinek, Lake Wabaunsee; Lesa and George Lambert, Silver Lake; and Mrs. Martinek’s mother, Vera George, Topeka.

Mrs. Martinek is retired from Washburn University.

Mr. Martinek is retired from City Glass.

They request no gifts.
