Isaac Larance Died Yesterday Morning
Deceased was a G.A.R. veteran and had lived to be near centenarian.
Isaac Larrance dropped gently off into the sleep of death at 12:10 o'clock yesterday morning. It has been permitted him to live many eventful years and to witness the changes through almost a century of time as he would have been 92 years old had he lived until next February 11.
Mr Larrance made his home with his daughter, Mrs Alice Doughty, 313 South Morley Street. Besides Mrs Doughty, he leaves another daughter Mrs C F York, Los Angeles; a son F C Larrance, Lawton, Okla; a brother, Lant Larrance, Ridge Farm, Ill; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Deceased was an Union soldier during the Civil War and served as a captain in Co. G of the 28th Illinois cavalry. He has resided in Moberly for the past ten years. Prior to that time he was a merchant at Roseville, Kansas.
A short service was held at the home yesterday afternoon at 4 o'clock conducted by Rev. Morgan. The remains will be taken to Topeka, Kansas for the internment.
